If you've ever owned a Citroen or had a French girlfriend then you know the French do things differently and as someone who has always been intrigued by Heath-Robinson constructions this wonderful device attracted my attention on a recent visit to see our Gallic cousins.
I've posted a few photos so you can admire it's wonderful lines. Sorry ladies this is clearly a guy thing.....
If you want to know more about this awesome turbine which has both a stator and a rotor, it's called an Éolienne Bollée. There was a time when I only had eyes for the women. Sad isn't it?
