A worrying thought for 2012 !
10 years ago Bob Hope died
5 years ago Johnny Cash died
A couple of months ago Steve Jobs died
A few weeks ago Jimmy Saville died
Now we have no Hope, no Cash, no Jobs and nobody left to Fix It

Let's hope nothing happens to Ed Balls!

Australia Day !

G'day all. Its a typical day in 'Oztraya'. Big heat in the west. Big floods in the east.
And its Australia Day - with another shrimp on the barbie and a beer if I have to.
I'll have a beer for you. I may have one for each of you.
And then there's the cricket. Just getting in some practice at winning...

Happy Burns Night

For all the Scots around the world... love this one :) ahhhhh.....

It all happens down south

The Coastguard to the rescue, we think it was a dog.

It was windy yesterday but the Door was still there.

Collingwood girls in convoy :)

Did you hear the one about the tanker that crashed into a house.... an ex taking revenge, it made Sky news according to my youngest who heard all about it whilst in Brussels at the weekend.

For all our lady bloggers!

Subject: Please type in your name & wait. Clever!!

Just had to forward this one!  Apparently, Johnson & Johnson came up with this musical apology after a product shortage of Ob Tampons last year.

After you type your name, it takes a minute or two,  - be patient - but well worth the wait.

Roger, This was opposite where I now live. Springhead sidings west of 'Ull (hey up Paul) The embankment to the right was the 'Ull to Barnsley line. The land, a few sheds and rails and the embankment were still there in '72 when I bought the house but Mr Barratt soon took care of that when he made an offer for the land in 1975 that Beverley Borough Council could not refuse!Plenty of fashionable houses there now!

One for squirrel & John ( and all other amateur U boat historians)

The U boat pens in Bordeaux. Still in use, but as an Arts centre. Home of the 12th U boat flotilla during the war. It's only taken me 7 months to post this shot!
