The Rural Idyll part I

The agricultural show season is upon us and everyone likes to look their best.

For some all that's needed is a perm and a tint or too.

Everyone likes to look their best.

Although if you're plain plug ugly that doesn't help.

Neither does it help if you're a cross between a sheep and a rabbit.

But generally it's time for a good laugh.

Or even time for a bit of hanky-panky.

There's lots of opportunity for posing....

And even groping....

It's also a time to enjoy the timeless synergy between woman and beast.

Just don't let them tell you that a ring through the nose doesn't hurt. (to be continued)

...'til we meet again...

Sad news about Sherry Greaves

We have just received the sad news that our dear blogmate and former PRS pupil, Sherry Greaves, has passed away. No further details are known at this stage. We offer our deepest sympathy to Sherry's family.

http://www.rona.ca/en/bath-screen

I just assembled and installed one of these in 'MY' bathroom (Yes all by myself) and, contrary to all the doubters, not a drop gets on the floor whilst showering, I don't have to 'duck' under a bar to get in and, the room itself  gives the appearance of being larger. All in All a successful project. Kathy, although hesitant to admit, would now like one in 'HER' bathroom....

Confused from Mandeville, Louisiana writes............

OK, Herr Blogmeister! I believe I've discovered what makes the 'double postings' happen. I often open the blog without 'signing in'. I can still read everything and get to the 'comments' area. I make my own comment - and then remember I haven't signed in. At this stage, I have three choices: Carry on regardless and go through the 'fuzzy word' routine to post my comment; Cut (or copy) my message, back out of the page, sign in, paste my message and then post it or, give up and pour another beer. If I elect the first, any attempt to revert to a prior page automatically causes a second posting. I've never selected the second. I own to frequently opting for the third!

My kitchen never again in my lifetime

It all started with the skip arriving
Then the old kitchen was removed
Looks like this now although to the right you will see below a new shelf, that is because
I changed my mind at the end, women are allowed to do that :)

As it is now.... I have one of the other side but the faff to get this far I will leave it to your imagination
all I will say is rounded cupboard! New floor too but you cannot see it... maybe I will add later!

Pension Justice - International Consortium of British Pensioners (ICBP)

Thought my fellow PRS bloggers might get a chuckle out of this, - of course it hits close to the knuckle for us ex-pats living in those "frozen" countries, - this highlights the unfairness and the stupidity of it all.  What else can you expect from government.
