One for Norm,Dmitri & Nick
Went with my wife to Shakespeare's Globe theatre on the South Bank on Sunday to see Henry V starring Jamie Parker. Not bad - nearly as good as the one above, which we performed on the stage of Churchill at the end of the Summer term in 1960. Norm, Dmitri, Nick Siminson & I had minor roles, but at the time it seemed as though half the school were on stage. I think the parents enjoyed it! Only 52 years ago but I can still remember some of my lines

Scott McKenzie
Scott McKenzie, who sang the 1960s hit San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair), has died aged 73.
The singer was a close friend of Mamas and Papas star John Phillips, who wrote and produced the San Francisco track.Released in May 1967, it became a global hit and an anthem for the 1960s counterculture movement.
"I am amazed at how San Francisco continues even now to evoke dreams in the hearts and minds of people all over the world," McKenzie wrote in 2002.
How many times have we all sang this. R.I.P.

Robert Braithwaite Martineau ,1826‑1869 (Tate Gallery (“Tate Britain”), London)
But… I am on the move soon and will have limited
access to the internet so you will hear even less from me for a while (Who
shouted Hooray! ?).

No, it’s not me in the picture.
No, that’s not my house.
And No, today’s not the last
day.
Before and After
Before - The Secret Garden
After - The not so secret garden
....and I have a water lily in my water tub
